Okay. I’m a sucker for wedding days. And I’m a sucker for wedding videos. And when I see the final draft of a wedding film go out to the bride and groom I’ve got to watch it and think about how they’ll see it and feel for the first time. And this one–I’ve gotta tell ya–gave me goosebumps for like 2 minutes straight and then some, and then on the re-runs too!! Such love, such emotion, such sweetness. Oh how sweet Mauricio and Rubi are together and how excited they were for their wedding day! Such gentle and caring people who know how to have fun and make everyone feel included! They booked one of the biggest indoor venues in town so they could feed all their friends and family and so that no one would be left out!
Rubi wrote in her sweet love letter to Moe, “God’s timing is always perfect” and Moe wrote back, “You have and always will be a gift from God.” Moe and Rubi met at Cal State Bakersfield and went on their first date to a Dodger’s game and you know what – that was the most perfect timing possible for these two to start off their journey to be united, though they just didn’t know it at the time ;-) Many of their friends and family look up to them in their example of a true love story, and it was so sweet to hear those who stood up at their wedding reception and affirmed that this truly was true love. You can just hear it in Rubi’s sisters voice…such love, such care, such thankfulness for this relationship and so many people were so proud of who they’d become.
Relationships are a wonderful thing and when you can honestly say, like Rubi to Moe, “You have taught me to love and be loved” then you know there is something more than just special…there is something extra special, truly wonderful, and worth planning a wedding to celebrate!

“What We’ve Always Wanted” is a sweet wedding story about a bride, Hazel, and her groom, Trystan, and how these two made a lifetime commitment to love and honor each other as husband and wife! Now in case you don’t know Trystan and Hazel, these two are HUGE Disney fans…like he proposed at Disneyland on June 28th, 2016! Their engagement photos were themed after the movie “Up” and if I’m not mistaken that’s where they headed there for their honeymoon as well! As it was said that night, Hazel married the man of her dreams, her favorite Disneyland buddy, and her one and only Prince Charming.
And Trystan was no less lucky, speechless at the thought that today was the day they were to be wed in matrimony forever. As he wrote in his last love letter to Hazel before the wedding ceremony, “I’m trying to find the words to say, but I find myself drowning in this symphony of love.” Oh what hopeless romantics these two are! All day there were smiles and tears, smiles and tears, laughter and hugs and smiles and tears. Such a beautifully emotional day! Trystan and Hazel had waited eight whole years to this day and it was truly all that they had dreamed of, being united in marriage before friends and family in their own home church and celebrating afterwards with a beautiful meal and towers upon towers of donuts with cake, from surprise performances to sweet dances, the whole day was one to remember and we only hope that we captured a small part of this love-packed day with the trust sense of joy and happiness that surrounded everyone that day.
Seriously, we don’t stamp a film complete until we ourselves get the goose-bumps and it doesn’t take us long here – I mean, even the Father-Daughter First Look is just too precious and the day had hardly started! Poor Hazel tried her best not to smear her gorgeous makeup and somehow she succeeded, but that was no easy ordeal with all the love and joy and hope and excitement the day brought! And the wedding ceremony!! Not only did Trystan and Hazel get married in a grand church with chandeliers and a full choir, but their vows – oh, their vows – so precious, so meaningful, straight from the heart. You almost want to clap out loud as they are pronounced husband and wife! Enter the reception and the smiles couldn’t be wiped from their faces even if they tried. Trystan and Hazel had a wonderful time celebrating and making special memories that we know will last them the rest of their life. We only hope we were able to contribute to their happiness by capturing these moments for them to watch and re-watch for many many years to come. Cheers to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Diaz! Congratulations and may your love grow stronger every day!

A seemingly chance meeting at a Christmas party led to “More Than Friends” in Andrew and Kaylee’s case. But it was the perfect timing and they turned out to be “the perfect pair.” After meeting, each one went home and asked their mutual friend about the other (“Wait, who’s this guy?” and “Tell me more about this girl.”). Even from Day One, Kaylee knew Andrew was special…she just didn’t know it’d turn into the perfect man for her! And Andrew knew there was something different about this girl…and he was intrigued to spend more time with her and find out more.
Andrew and Kaylee were such a special bride and groom for us at Evermoore, and we loved filming and editing their wedding. From even the short time we’ve known them we can see their love is deep and genuine. As Andrew said in his love letter to his soon-to-be-wife, “Today is the happiest day of my life…so far.” And they have many more happy days ahead – happier than they can even imagine! Almost giddy at their First Look before the wedding ceremony, Andrew and Kaylee couldn’t help but pull out a few dance moves with excitement. As Kaylee said, “Now let’s go get married!.”
“For better…for worse…for richer…for poorer…in sickness…and in health…to love…and to understand…till death shall part us.” Andrew and Kaylee pledged their vows to each other before family and friends, both full of smiles and brimming with happiness. At their beautiful wedding reception, Andrew’s best man reminded him of the days when they’d sit around dreaming of being married to the perfect wife, and at last his dreams had come true. And you can only imagine how excited Kaylee’s Maid of Honor was to see her two best friends get married and now spend the rest of their lives together. Oh, such a happy day in so many ways!! Why, even their two sweet Pomeranians made a special appearance in the morning while getting ready for the day!
So this Christmas, if you take Andrew and Kaylee’s advice, keep your eyes out…because you NEVER know who you’ll meet!!

Oh, we just love a good love story! Clayton and Chaney have such a cute story that all started yeeeeears ago when they met at Country Christian School! Like several people commented during the toasts, neither of them thought that they’d end up together – not as girlfriend/boyfriend and ESPECIALLY not as husband/wife! But our plans are not always God’s plans and Clayton and Chaney soon found out that God had a better plan for them then they even thought possible!
Fast-forward to two days after Christmas in 2015 (right between the holidays–the perfect un suspecting time to propose, men–free tip from Clayton!), Clayton got down on one knee and, holding out a dazzling Jared ring, he asked the woman of his dreams to marry him. We’re pretty sure he had a pretty good idea she’d say “Yes!” Clayton and Chaney were whisked into wedding planning and set the date for September 16th, 2017. They chose to get married in a private backyard with a beautiful open space for the ceremony, reception, and gorgeous photo spots along the Kern River. So peaceful, so perfect, just right for a wedding day!
Guests arrived to a gorgeous set-up by Lisa Haddadin, a good friend-turned wedding coordinator, and florist “Bloom.” From Wedding Paper Divas invitations to It’s Your Party Event Services rentals and linens, no detail was forgotten and everything was just stunning for an outdoor fall wedding. Clayton was dressed in his Friar Tux suit with a whole army of body guards by his side, waiting for his bride to appear around the corner. Well, they had prayed together earlier that morning, holding hands around a tree, but that was technically blind-folded, so he hadn’t got a glimpse of her yet. Before long Chaney’s court of maids appeared one by one, growing the suspense of the entrance of the bride. With very specially chosen dress from David’s Bridal, Chaney slowly came i nto view, holding on to both her father’s and mother’s arms. Misty Dameron Photography quitely snapped away these fleeting moments as father and daughter made the long-anticiapted walk down the aisle.
Everyone agreed that Chaney looked liked a perfectly happy dream, with her hair perfectly done up by Deanna Sorrell and her makeup by Megan Bryant, she practically floated toward her husband-to-be while he wiped away tears, completely stunned and still unprepared for this emotional moment! Pastor Steve Vinson welcomed the guests and began the reverent ceremony while the Evermoore Films team quietly captured the sacred vows, the exchange of the rings, and at last the first kiss as husband and wife!
After some photos and mingling, the bridal party made their way into the reception and Let The Music Play kept the guests entertained and got the party started on the full dance floor! Dinner was provided by Bord A Petite Catering Inc. and a delectable cake by Sugar and Tin Bakery as well as other sweets from Nothing Bundt Cakes–something for everyone! And just like that the wedding day was coming to a close! From the morning prayers to the heart-felt toasts, we just loved capturing every precious moment for Clayton and Chaney to remember now for the rest of their lives. Wishing them a lifetime of love and commitment forevermore, congratulate with us the newest Mr. and Mrs. in Bakersfield, California! Neither Clayton or Chaney knew it at the time, but for Clayton the love of his life and forever partner was standing “Right In Front of Me” for years…until just the right moment. And now we know that September 16th was that moment. Cheers!

Love and Laughter. Truly the most perfect movie title for Daniel and Nicole. Love, as evidenced by a whole eight years together (so far!), and laughter, because we didn’t catch them without smiles and laughs all throughout their entire wedding day! Married at JEH Ranch on September 15th, 2017, Daniel and Nicole now look forward to a lifetime of love and laughter together as a united family with their two beautiful kids!
The morning of a wedding is always exciting and this lovely Friday was no exception. Nicole and her ladies were busy at The Padre Hotel, getting hair and makeup done by Alivia Daniels from Revive Salon. With her Kenneth Winston dress from What’s Up Europe, all the women agreed that Nicole was going to look stunning for the day, and that she did! Josh and Robert from Evermoore Films came early to give the dazzling Zales rings their close-ups before the big day and shot alongside Shauntelle from Sposto Photography, working as a wonderful team to capture sweet memories of the happy couple, family, bridal party, and guests. Meanwhile the guys were getting ready in another room at The Padre Hotel and getting ready for the day in their own kind of way! Dressed to the nine in their sharp Friar Tux suits, Daniel and his buddies were ready at last and headed to JEH Ranch in A Cut Above Limousine.
As Nicole arrived to the wedding venue in her gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes and Givenchy jewelry, she was sure to impress her groom and make the guests “Ooo” and “Ahh.” Behind the scenes, Carlos Cabrera from Make It Happen Events designed and executed a beautiful ceremony and reception site for the day, with every detail thought of and nothing forgotten, working alongside Walker-Lewis Rents to provide a fantastic setting for a fall wedding. After a sweet ceremony with teary-eyed vows and–believe it or not even bigger smiles from the bride and groom–the newlywed couple dashed away for a few romantic photos and cinematic shots of just the two of them and their “new” little family.
And then the night began as Jimmy from Crown Entertainment led the bridal party into the reception to start the night off with a fun Grand Entrance for each of them! JEH Ranch provided a delicious meal and Morgan kept everyone on task and everything in order. Of course the night wouldn’t be over without a sweet taste of the gorgeously displayed Tastries Bakery cake on a hanging cake stand designed by Love Conquers All, besides the other wedding signs created too! With a fun My Bakersfield Photo Booth to allow the guests to take fun, silly, or lovey-dovey photos to remember the night by, everyone agreed that it was a wonderful wedding and that they couldn’t be happier for Daniel and Nicole! As their officiant Keith said, “May love and laughter fill your home all the days of your life.” Daniel and Nicole we wish you a lifetime of happiness, joy, laughter, and love!

Okay, so, this has got to be one of the most special ceremonies we’ve filmed yet. I mean, what could be more romantic than a bride and groom saying “I Do” 10 years after their original wedding date and renewing their marriage vows again before friends and family, re-committing themselves to each other with undying love. Oh. So. Sweet! Justin and Marissa we just LOVED being there for your very special day and are so thankful to have captured your love in a new way for you to remember for many years to come! Since we never tire of re-watching good movies, we’re taking it back to July 1st, 2017 – the day Justin and Marissa said “We Still Do.”
It all started on May 29th, 2007 when Justin got down on one knee and proposed to Marissa. With a one month engagement they both knew this person was the one they wanted to spend forever with, so on June 29th, 2007, Justin and Marissa wed in matrimony before a small group of family and friends. But here’s the cool part. Not only did Justin and Marissa get married, but they had a friend last minute grab a camera and videotape their ceremony vows! After years of thinking they had lost the footage – not even remembering what it looked or sounded like – Justin and Marissa sat down to plan their 10 year vow renewal and started sorting through old computer files to put together a slideshow of old photos from over the past 10 years. Well, you can imagine their surprise when out of the woodwork falls their video from their original wedding vows! Overjoyed, they didn’t ever want to lose or forget them again and were ecstatic when we were able to include their original footage into their new wedding vow renewal highlight film!
It’s just too cute, watching the vows time-shift and go back and forth from then and now – to see the adoring way they repeated their vows back then and then confidently renewed them again! But this time they had a whole crew of vendors who helped make their day special! Gilbert from GiL Photography snapped away precious photos while Anthony Pangan brought the guests to the dance floor. Bakersfield Flower Market provided beautiful flower arrangements while Four Points by Sheraton’s The Bistro served a delicious shrimp and steak dinner! Don Roberto Jewelers added the bling, and between Marissa and Deseree, hair and makeup looked just perfect for the day! Smith’s Bakeries brought in the cutest lego-topped, chocolate frosted cake because after all it’s not a celebration without sweets!
One the cutest and most hilarious parts of the day was when the Reverend Loji Pilones ended the ceremony. This wasn’t their first kiss in marriage, so he got a little creative and announced, “And now…now you can shake each other’s hands.” and so THEY DID!!!! But then he quickly added, “You can kiss each other!” Oh, so fun! Justin and Marissa were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Delano, California and had a blast celebrating atFour Points By Sheraton in Bakersfield, California to the end of the night! And what a night it was 🙂 Join us in congratulating this sweet bride and groom and wish them well on their next 10 happy years together!
