Meet James, a quiet but romantic man, very much in love with Stefanie. Meet Stefanie, a sweet woman, bubbly, easy-going and very kind. This was going to be one special wedding day! As Stefanie wrote in her love letter to James, “I know I say it often, but how did we get to be so lucky. We click, we’re puzzle pieces.” And we couldn’t agree more!
One fine summer morning, smiles were extra big as the calendar revealed that today was the day…the big day…THE day – James and Stefanie’s wedding day! The setting? Padre Hotel, Bakersfield, California. The cast? The closest family and friends – both in the bridal party and in the audience as guests to attend and witness the marriage of this excited bride and groom. When Evermoore Films arrived on the scene, Addy and Lisa had already set up and were working away on curls and blush for all the pretty ladies. Stefanie was so caring and carefree on her wedding day – even stopping to ask her photographers and cinematographers if THEY needed anything!? No stress, no worry, just pure excitement all throughout the day!
Stefanie’s Willowby by Watters dress from BHLDN hung off to the side, ready and waiting to make its special appearance on this beautiful day. One bright shiny rock – rather, ring – from Claydon Jewelers made sure everyone knew that Stefanie would be officially “taken” today! We snuck a peek at the Matinae designed invitations and of course had to grab a whiff of the custom House of Flowers bouquets. James and his closest friends were hiding away on a different floor of the Padre and were about to look sharp in their suits from Generation Tux. After passing out customized gifts, the men made sure all ties were ironed out and looking pristine for the photos and for the ladies.
After everyone was ready, Marianne Lucas Photography stole the bride and hid her around a corner for a special surprise. Her groom was directed to face away and she walked up behind him, tapped him on the shoulder, and they exchanged a few moments together before the hustle and bustle would really begin. With time for some family and bridal party shots at the Kern County Museum, everyone hopped back in The Limousine Scene to begin the festivities. Irma from Simply Chic Events showed Stefanie around Elements Venue with all their planned details that had come to fruition including place cards, a gorgeous cake, and signs by Custom Creations.
Before long, Non Stop Sound started the ceremony and the bride’s brother, Nick, was privileged to officiate. With a short and sweet ceremony, the couple were officially united and walked down the aisle as a new Mr. and Mrs! They were sweet toasts from a sister and best friend and were wished many happiness by friends and family from all around. Dinner, dancing, a live mariachi, and the party was on its way! Wish the couple a congratulations and enjoy their wedding film – whether or not you made it to the ceremony! So now we would like to introduce you…
