Prices for wedding videos
The number one question we get asked as wedding videographers is this: “What are your prices?” Now there are a lot of reasons behind why a bride or groom or friend or parent might be asking this question and we’ll unpack a few today…as well as the answer. First, in case you didn’t know already, everything is online and you can get access to our EXACT current up-to-date pricing. But first, a little more about wedding videos.
The question: “What are your wedding video prices?”
Whether you’re a researching bride, a helping vendor, the maid of honor, the mother-of-the-bride, or even a more distant relative wanting to contribute a wedding video as your gift to the engaged couple, we know you need to ask about budget. You’ve found different options online or from friends of wedding videographers local or distant and you start to narrow down who you like and who you want to inquire with, and the first question is “But can I afford you?” You like their work, you like their style, you like their brand, you like their vibe, you like their personality, you know a friend who hired them, you know they’re local, you know they’ve shot at your venue before…etc etc etc…BUT can you afford them?
It’s a logical first question because if you love their work but they are quadruple your intended budget…maybe that’s not a wise choice. On the other hand some brides would say that it doesn’t matter the price – I’m looking for a certain style and I’ve found it and I will raise my budget to fit the price. But in either scenario…we’ll need to talk money at some point.
The answer: “How much do you want it to be?”
Here at Evermoore FIlms we believe marriage is important and that a wedding day is important and it’s super important to remember it so you don’t forget it (it meaning the vows, the ceremony, the people, the family, the good times etc.). Without giving away hundreds of wedding videos for free every year (even though that’d be super fun too), we want to offer our Bakersfield community and beyond the best possible combination of a wedding video that’s good quality, priced right, and will be a family heirloom for years to come (or as we say, forEVERMOORE).
The goal of some videographers is to create exclusive luxury wedding films that only few can afford but are over-the-top amazing movie film experiences with no expense or time spared in the creating, designing, and delivering of a wedding film. That’s not our goal. The goal of other videographers is to make the fastest, cheapest possible option for brides so they can afford a video even if it’s not the best, and at least have something on film rather than nothing. That’s not our goal either. We are somewhere in between and want to provide a range of options for brides that both helps them fit something quality into their budget, but doesn’t have to include all the bells and whistles unless they want it and are willing to pay for it.
Hard numbers with wedding videos
With all that in mind, we have a wide range of options available from under $1,000 to over $8,000. And since we know you’ll be asking about the deposit let’s get that out of the way too. There is no deposit. Instead, we offer monthly payment plans, and your first payment acts as a deposit. You can get a wedding video for as little as $60 per month, or you can take advantage of the payment system to get a bigger package than you ever thought you could afford for $350 per month.
