Josh: Hey, Josh here from the Evermore Wedding Vendor Show. We are here in Fresno at a bridal show for the ACS Bridal Show in the Fresno Fairgrounds here. And we have a booth here at the show for Evermore Films, our videography company, and we are also going to be walking around talking to the other vendors at the show.
So to give you an idea of what it’s like to be here at a bridal show. Welcome to the Evermore Wedding Vendor Show, where we chat with local wedding vendors. I’m Josh from Evermore Films, the host of the Evermore Wedding Vendor Show. Also the home of the Evermore Wedding Vendor Directory, where we have over a thousand local wedding vendors listed in the central California area.
Let’s get into today’s show. Hey, we’re here with Omar from Lomeli images, and he’s going to tell us a little bit about his photography company. How’s it going, Omar?
Pretty good. Pretty good. So we’ve been here in the Fresno area since 2008. So that’s a 15 years going on 16 and we get pretty busy, you know primarily do weddings, but we also do quinceaneras and we have our crew here.
Omar: We have Karina, Paul, and Kristen that they’re the, the the main support for sure. We usually do about 50, 60 weddings a year, so we keep pretty busy, along with quinceaneras and everything else, so. That’s awesome. That’s awesome. Alright. Hi, I’m here with Preet from Sunset Acres. They have a venue here, and she’s gonna tell little bit about what they do.
Preet: Hi. We opened a wedding venue just this March of 2023. We are pretty newbie and I myself is in a medical field. So my always my hobby or a passion was an interior design. So we have this property now that’s very beautiful. It has like really hundred year old trees, a lot of nature, the sunset, the sunsets, our views are so, so, I mean, it’s hard for me to explain.
Somebody has to come see it, the whole layering of it. And so that’s. The real reason behind history, behind opening it. I I’m putting a lot of passion into this project and quality because I want my couple to see if they’re investing in it and they’ll see the quality in there. And my goal is to treat them not as a Friday, Saturday and Sunday package as people, and I want them to take the memories from our venue because I’m putting love, love and passion because of my hobby in there.
Josh: Very cool. Very cool. That’s, that’s great. You turn your, your interior design and a beautiful venue. So that’s. That’s great. Yeah. Thank you, Preet.
I’m here with Kyle Brown, a wedding officiant, and Kyle, you want to tell us a little bit about your business?
Kyle: Oh yeah. So I’ve been an officiant since 1999, November 5th, and I do about a hundred ceremonies a year right now.
All of my ceremonies are custom written vows. So that’s the coolest part is I sit down and I meet with the bride and the groom and find out what they want. Are they religious? Are they not? Are they exchanging rings? Are they doing hand fasting? Are they doing a rose ceremony, a lasso, coins? Whatever it might be.
Candle lighting, you know, we incorporate all of that so their ceremony is theirs. And then one of the things that everybody loves about the ceremony, average 12 to 15 minutes long. You know, so it’s not an all day thing. It’s a get in, get the important parts out and move on to the celebration and the party.
And the other thing that everybody likes, at least the photographer, is when I tell them that, you know, you may now kiss the bride. I step aside, so it’s just them in the photo and the video. It makes such a difference. So having a professional officiant is just the key to the start of the event. And so all of your vendors can then create awesome memories.
So that’s what I do.
Josh: I’m here with Preeti from Skin Restore and she’s going to tell us a little bit about what they do here.
Preeti: Hi, thank you. We do everything from Botox to fillers. We do laser treatment for hair removal. We do microneedling. It’s perfect for any. That’s trying to get ready for her wedding.

Mike: I think that’s excellent.
Josh: We have our booth here and we also are going to walk around and talk to the other vendors in the show. I’m here with Sabrina from the Cotton Candy Sugar Bee Company, and she’s going to tell us a little bit about what they do here.
Sabrina: I am a mom of two and I started Sugar Bee Company.
I do pre packaged or spin live. I do vegan gluten free kosher dye free cotton candy. And then I just opened the hot cocoa cart. You get everything with your cocoa, all your.
Josh: Very cool. Very cool. And how do people get in touch with you?

Josh: Hi, I’m here with Nicole from The Poor House and she’s going to tell us a little bit about what they do here.
Nicole: Hello.
Yes, we are a mobile bartending service. So we go wherever you need us.
We set up and clean up all of our services. If you need a bar, a cart or a trailer, we have you. We also have a champagne wall and all of our rentals come with a hydration station. Keep you hydrated. We make a multitude of drinks from craft cocktails to your regular cocktails, beer and wine, and even mocktails.
Josh: Hi, I’m here with Badi from Roasted Garlic Co. and he’s going to tell us a little bit about what they do there at Roasted Garlic Co.
Badi: Hello, I’m doing good. We’re Roasted Garlic Co. We’re specialists in the Mediterranean food. Mediterranean means the countries on the Mediterranean shore. So it means from Lebanon all the way to Paris.
We have a variety of cuisines. We’re located in Fresno. We have more than 20 years experience in this food industry. And we’ve here in the fair, we met lovely people and that’s it.
Josh: Hi, I’m here with Darren and Jill from Stoic Events and Kingsburg Ranch. And they’re going to tell us a little bit about what they do.

Josh: Hi, I’m here with Sarah from Shikor Beauty and she’s gonna tell us a little bit about what they do.
Sarah: Absolutely. So we are here at the wedding show basically offering hair and makeup services to any brides that do need our services for their wedding. We come for multiple different events as well, any birthdays, holidays, anything like that.
At the shows you guys can come and demonstrate some of the machines that we use. They’re also available for at home orders. Something like this is one of our number one sellers. What we have here is our styling comb. It’s a steamer so we don’t use any heat. It straightens, it blow dries, and it curls with no heat, and it stays in for a couple days.

Chris: Yeah. So we are a newer bridal shop here in town. We did open up January of this year. But we are excited to serve all the brides in the Central Valley.
We host bridal shows like this where we do cater only to the brides, but we do alterations for all as well too.
Josh: Hi, I’m here with Alma from the Grand 1401. She’s going to tell us a little bit about the venue and what they offer.
Alma: Hi, I’m from the Grand 1401. We have two different ballrooms. Our rooftop ballroom is on the last floor of the building, and this is our building here.
And we also have the Grand Ballroom, which is on the main floor. We offer the option of having ceremony on the 10th floor, reception on And we’re also located in a beautiful block where you can get a bunch of beautiful pictures in our historic downtown Fresno.
Josh: Hi, we’re here with Tanya from King’s Photo Booth and she’s going to tell us a little about what they offer.

Christina: Hi, my name is Christina. I am the owner, co owner of Best Wishes. We do a little bit of everything. Like she said, we do a lot of party favors, the backdrops.
We also started doing a little bit of desserts and all that good stuff. We We also rent bar tables which has been pretty popular right now. You can get the linens and everything. We have a pretty good variety of things, which I think is good for the consumer. So, yeah. Awesome. Thank you.
