Noriega House. It was perfect. This was the perfect place for James and Tiffany to make happy memories of the first day of their lives together. It was June and, although a hot day, an exciting day and one that many will remember for years and years to come – not just because of the video, but because of what happened and who was there.
But the day didn’t begin there…in fact, the love story began way, way long ago. If you were there at the wedding you would have noticed a large wooden sign calligraphied by Matinae Design Studio that read “November 15, 2008” as the first day they met. Almost ten years in the making and the perfect time had finally come. We loved talking to Tiffany’s wedding planner, Colleen Bauer from Fairy Godmother, and finding out that she didn’t know a single thing she wanted for her wedding except that she wanted to incorporate lime green since it was James’ favorite color. Every little detail was planned to the “T” by the Fairy Godmothers and it was breathtaking when their vision finally came to life on the wedding day. Local Bakersfield wedding vendors supplied the entire crew, and we just can’t get over the stunning flower arrangements by House of Flowers, each lime-filled vase standing tall and proud with a firework display of luscious ferns, delicate hydrangeas, and fragrant roses in the most perfect way possible.
Nothing was left unpersonalized from the woodsy wedding card box to the lime green cocktail napkins. Around every corner was a taste of relaxed elegance, not too stuffy, but enough to feel special. Gifts were being passed out left and right to bridesmaids, groomsmen, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and more – Connor even presented his new dad with the coolest picture of his dad riding his motorcycle! The surprises never stopped all day – not even into the night when, after the cake and a few dances, an incredible fruit art display was revealed by NV Catering – a delightful surprise for the diabetic groom!
And speaking of surprises, the guests got a crazy surprise sometime in the evening when James heard that his motorcycle was sitting out front of Noriega House, just waiting to be shown off. He couldn’t resist, and his bride watched on the side as he flew by with feet straight in the air, zooming past as the crowd cheered him on! Well, it certainly was a night to remember and with this video to prove it, it will be hard to forget. James and Tiffany insisted on publicly thanking each and every one of their vendors who participated in the wedding and we agree that everyone needs a round of applause. Stay tuned for the credits at the end and congratulate the bride and groom and their vendors on social media as a way to say thanks and wish the couple a happy new journey together!
