Oh, what a dream this wedding day was! A beautiful bride and her handsome groom in the gorgeous setting of North Lake Tahoe, CA. What could be more fun and memorable!? For a couple who loves camping, biking, BBQs, and other outdoor activities, this was the perfect blend of relaxation and romance – the perfect setting for a wedding!
Bianca and her lovely maids started the day off with getting their hair and makeup done at a nearby Tahoe Tavern. Sarina Bruno and Jennifer Holmes from Kiss & Makeup did an amazing job on all the ladies and it was a fun, cozy time. Adam and Bianca were careful to tell us in our very first meeting with them that they were so excited about the video and wanted to make sure we captured the “wedding chaos” of the day. They weren’t afraid of being themselves and wanted to savor those fun, goofy moments on the dance floor and a sweet family group hug during preps. In fact, they almost expected something to go wrong and weren’t the least upset when the Father of the Bride broke his arm just days before the ceremony!
Adam and Bianca chose handsome grey tuxedos from Men’s Wearhouse to go with Bianca’s Ti Adora by Alvina Valenta from Glamour Closet in Los Angeles. With alterations by Ladies & Gents Bridal, her gown was a dream and you couldn’t get her to stop smiling all day! One of our favorite moments was when they exchanged love letters, sitting back to back on the pier over Lake Tahoe. Bianca finishes reading her letter and cries, “Can I hug you?!” Oh so sweet! Gives us goosebumps again and again! And another favorite moment was Adam’s comment upon seeing his new bride, “I am so happy…you have no clue…it’s all I’ve been talking about!”
Wanda’s Floral & Gift provided gorgeous bouquets of flowers for each of the ladies and elegant boutonnières for each of the men. And oh my goodness the ceremony flower arch was over the top amazing! The perfect backdrop to the outdoor ceremony at Gar Woods Grill & Pier in Carnelian Bay overlooking the calm waters of Lake Tahoe.
With shiny new Rogers Jewelry Co. rings on their fingers, no one could mistake the bride and groom and the crowds cheered for the happy couple as we made more memories with Ashley dePencier Photography on the pier at sunset. In fact, we even caught her literally standing in the lake to get the perfect shots for Adam and Bianca – what a photographer! Mr. D DJ Services kept the party hopping for the newlyweds and their friends and family, and Gar Woods Grill & Pier offered ridiculously delicious burgers for the wedding feast. And the icing on the cake was when we found a sugary stack of goodness by Sugar Pine Cakery!
It truly was a fantastic day, and we couldn’t have been more happy and thankful to film the wedding of two incredibly grateful people. Adam and Bianca, we wish you every bit of happiness and joy in the many, many years ahead! May you have fond memories of the day you committed your lives to each other and promised to each other, “I Am Yours.” Cheers to a new adventure!
